I have had simular issues. I first started taking chantix Oct 29, 2008. I had terrible abdominal pain and severe nausea. So, I convinced myself to continue taking the drug because I thought nausea and abdominal pain was better than continuing to smoke. Boy was I wrong. I quit smoking on Nov 15, 2008 AND quit taking chantix 3 days later. I knew I had to because chantix was making me very ill. I was given darvocet for my back pain and it didnt do much to relieve the pain that I was having. It made me very tired and not very motivated to do anything.

It was a very bad experience being on this medication. I definitely suffered through rough side affects, and I would not want anyone else being on it if they have to go through the same conditions.

Chantx helped me quit smoking for 2 weeks. I had to quit taking it due to me getting a rash all over my body. that was 2 months ago, and i still have the rash. The doctors dont seem to know how to get rid of it. Does chantix work, i think so. I think i would still be smoke free if i could have continued it. I just picked up my prescription for Junel, and I have been reading all of the terrible reviews. Thank you so much for putting a positive one up. I know everyone is different, but I am hoping that more people have reviews like yours that they just aren't sharing! I was very nervous to start, but your review made me a little more relaxed about it!
